The following terms apply to the use of the website and services of Axi Legal.
Axi Legal is a trade name of L. Beute, registered in the Dutch Commercial Register as a sole proprietorship (Chamber of Commerce: [number to follow]), based in Baarn, the Netherlands.
Axi Legal provides AI-supported preparation and practical legal support for companies that want quick insight into contracts, privacy, HR documents, digital services and commercial legal risks. Axi Legal is not a law firm and does not perform work that may only be carried out by a lawyer or civil-law notary, such as mandatory court representation or notarial services. For proceedings, notarial matters and specialist disputes we refer you to the appropriate specialist.
Our analyses, reports, sample clauses and other information are intended as practical support for commercial and legal decision-making. The client remains responsible for the final decision whether or not to sign, amend or negotiate a contract.
AI is used as a supporting tool. AI output is not provided to clients as final advice without human review. Every paid analysis is professionally reviewed before it is shared with the client.
Although we work carefully and review paid analyses professionally, every review depends on the documents, facts and context provided. Axi Legal does not guarantee that every possible risk is fully identified in each individual case.
Our liability is limited as described in our general terms. For complex, procedural, notarial, specialist tax or other high-stakes legal matters, we advise seeking additional advice from a lawyer, civil-law notary, tax adviser or other specialist.
Client documents are handled confidentially. Insofar as we use AI tools or other suppliers, we set up our processes so that client documents are not used for public model training and so that appropriate arrangements are made regarding confidentiality, security and the processing of personal data. We set up our processes in a GDPR-aware manner with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Insofar as Axi Legal processes personal data on behalf of a business client when providing the services, the data processing terms set out in Appendix 1 to the general terms apply.
Axi Legal uses 'set up in a GDPR-aware manner' to describe its processes. This means that we strive to comply with the GDPR, but it does not give an absolute guarantee of full compliance in every situation. On request, we enter into a data processing agreement (DPA).
Dutch law applies to the services of Axi Legal, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Disputes are handled as described in the general terms.
This is an English translation for convenience. In case of conflict between the Dutch and English version, the Dutch version prevails.
